Getting a Bank of America job always seemed fun to me so I was pretty excited to get called for an interview. My resume must have adequately highlighted my cash handling experience in the retail industry. It did not hurt that my old boss frequently put me in charge of paying the bills and balancing the corporate checkbook. Plus, I am in business school and currently taking accounting classes. I knew a Bank of America job application was in my future.
Bank of America Jobs Are The Top Bank Jobs in The Country
My interview for a teller position went well and I got to take a tour of the bank and meet some employees while I was there. After just a day, I received a job offer. The hiring manager even let me select from several part-time schedules. I choose to work from opening until 2 PM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
This schedule is working out perfectly based on my school workload. The best part is I can add work hours during my school breaks and if I ever need extra cash. The tellers operate in a pool so if someone calls in sick, the rest of us always have an opportunity to cover that shift if we are not already scheduled for it. I have been able to earn extra money to pay for my books and a new laptop for school.
Formal and on-the-job training prepared me for my position. Everyone was so helpful while I was learning and they did not mind when I asked them questions. Before long, I was just as fast as the rest of them and was able to get through the day without having to refer to my procedural notes. I knew Bank of America jobs were great, but it turned out to be even better than I thought it would be, in so many ways. Completing a Bank of America job application was a great idea!
Far from being boring, these jobs offer something different every day. Interaction with customers, the ability to analyze and resolve problems, and camaraderie with co-workers are my favorite aspects. Once I graduate, I would like to continue my career in banking, possibly running a branch one day. Since there are banks throughout the country, I know that many opportunities await. I would encourage you to fill out a Bank of America job application also if you are interested in this line of work.
