Since I am in school, I cannot work a full-time schedule because my classes start in late afternoon. The tellers operate in a pool so if someone calls in sick, the rest of us always have an opportunity to cover that shift if we are not already scheduled for it. I have been able to earn extra money to pay for my books and a new laptop for school. 

Formal and on-the-job training prepared me for my position. Everyone was so helpful while I was learning and they did not mind when I asked them questions. Before long, I was just as fast as the rest of them and was able to get through the day without having to refer to my procedural notes.
